Sheet CALC-00 · Calculator Suite · 16 tools

Electrical Design Calculators for Kenyan Practice

Sixteen working design tools, arranged in the order a real design follows: establish demand, distribute and protect it, back it up, add solar, then test whether the economics hold. Free to use, no sign-up. Built by a registered Professional Engineer against BS 7671, IEC and KPLC/EPRA practice.

How to Use Them

A Calculator Is a Check, Not a Design

These tools give fast, defensible first-pass numbers — ideal for feasibility, client conversations, sanity-checking a contractor’s proposal, or teaching. They are not a substitute for a full design: real projects carry site constraints, coordination with other services, statutory approvals and liability that no calculator can hold.

Use them to know roughly where you stand. When the number matters — when it goes into a tender, an approval, or an installation — have it checked and signed by a registered engineer.

Beyond the Calculators

Need the Full Design, or Want to Learn to Do It?

We prepare load schedules, single-line diagrams, BOQs and tender documentation as a design package — or teach you to produce them yourself on real project drawings.
