What is frequency hopping? Frequency hopping in GSM can be classified as? Reasons for frequency hopping?

State the full name and briefly explain the use of the following GSM Channels:

AGCH

CBCH

RACH

PCH

SDCCH

What are concentric cells in GSM and state the advantages of using concentric cells.

What is AMR and how does it help to allow for more subscribers in WCDMA cell when the cell load is high?

What is PSC and how is it used in WCDMA networks?

Distinguish between the following:

HSDPA

HSUPA

LTE

What is a node B and what is RNC

What will be the service impact on voice and data if the cell serving the UMTS mobile is not created in the MSC?

Name at least 4 major RDBMS (Relational Database management systems) systems

To prepare adequately, ensure that you also familiar with CCNA terms and technics as well as familiarity with the micro-processor technologies: For example you might be asked to differentiate between RISC and CISC.

To succeed in this career I might also suggest that you commit fully into take at least CCNA1 and CCNA2.
