Dear Fellow Engineer,

If you want to get ahead fast…if you want a position of real importance and responsibility-then a knowledge of networking and winning friends is “AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY for your future! The knowledge of the available resources to aid your work,   of people who can connect you to job opportunities, of influencers who can connect you to projects and tenders, of potential customers to your services or products, of your peers and competitors  is KEY to succeeding in our much interconnected world.

Let me explain. I do not care whether you are a student, a graduate engineer, a professional engineer, a consulting engineer, a chartered engineer or a business person who is in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumping) field. It makes no difference how badly you are doing in your profession- how difficult it is to get that Job…how challenging it is to win that tender….how much extra you are paying to get those products when there are cheaper quality alternatives. The truth is, there is somebody out there who is waiting for a little probing to come to your aid. But they may never come to your aid. Not until now!

The First Ever East Africa’s MEP Conference.

This is the first ever conference in East Africa dedicated to MEP professionals only. Not architects, not quantity surveyors but MEP engineers. The conference aims to bring together all MEP professionals and stakeholders across East & Central Africa. We have established partnerships with international MEP players and engineers & engineering firms of acclaimed repute and we will draw speakers from across the country and the world.

Is there something we can learn from other engineers across the world? What are the current best engineering practices? Now is the time to get answers to such queries. Now is the time to acquire that MEP training that you have always aspired to have! The conference will aim to focus on Mechanical, Electrical and Plumping and their respective sub-disciplines.

If you continued to make the same mistakes over and over again, each time you would get the same terrible mistakes. The conference is an opportunity to learn new ways of doing things. It is time you got professional mentors. It is high time you got somebody to mentor. The possibilities are limitless. Even the founding fathers of the MEP field were frequent conference’s attendees. Nikola Tesla, acclaimed by many as one of the best electrical & mechanical engineer of all time was a founding vice chair of IEEE and attended conferences & seminars frequently.

Attendees to the conference will hear from the leaders of the MEP industry as they address the issues and opportunities surrounding the East Africa’s MEP sector.
